God Zone

 

 

The God Zone, consisting of Lil'K, Kid Zone and Youth Zone, is a Sunday afternoon program for children and youth, ages 4 to 17. 

The afternoon is filled with fun music, games, skits and interactive teaching! Busses pick up children and youth to attend this exciting program.

This program runs from September to May.  During the summer months, we have different outreach programs.  For more information, contact Sari Merkeley, Children's Ministry Director.

 
OUR MISSION

In Winnipeg’s West and North ends, families are broken, gangs are growing, addictions are prevalent and violence is real. We believe that Jesus is the answer. 
 
God Zone’s mission is to reach out to the children and youth in the inner city and in the community surrounding Calvary Temple with the love of Jesus Christ. 
 
This ministry has four bus routes, in which busses pick up children and youth from four areas in the North and West ends, and bring them to Calvary Temple on Sunday afternoons where children and youth have the opportunity to hear the gospel, grow in discipleship and make Christian friends!
 
 
OUR VISION

Our vision is to change the future of the youth of Winnipeg through the love of Jesus Christ, and raise up a generation that is passionate about Him! 
 
At God Zone, kids and youth have the opportunity to hear the gospel message of Jesus Christ and that He has come to give them a hope and a future! 
 
The God Zone Ministry Team consists of a dedicated team of Christ followers who share the love of Jesus with these kids and youth in creative and fun ways, presenting them with hope, and the best gift that anyone could ever receive … the love of Jesus Christ.

Lil’K
Ages 4 to 6
This special group has little ones who have never heard about God. Using interactive teaching, snacks and playtime, we have the opportunity to tell them about Jesus for the first time in their lives.
 

 

Kid Zone
Ages 7 to 12
Using interactive and high energy teaching, videos, creative skits, large group singing and games, as well as small group teaching and sharing, Kid Zone is the place to be!  This group of children are presented the gospel and challenged to live a passionate life for Jesus.
 
 

      

 

Youth Zone

Ages 13 to 17

Both Youth Zone programs are designed to be a small group, interactive time where teen girls and guys can connect with ministry leaders during creative activities, and be introduced to and/or encouraged in building a relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

 

Youth Zone Girls

Consists of small group Bible study and sharing times, cooking nights, crafts and special events !!

 

Youth Zone Guys

Consists of sports tournaments and competitions, games nights and devotional times in God's Word !!
