Introduction The women at Calvary Temple play a vital role in the life of their church. Through charitable works, personal ministry and prayer they help keep Christ's example alive and the gospel going forth. There are many areas of involvement that may interest you. Check them out and see where you may be able to serve. Women of Heart meet periodically in the Banquet Hall for fellowship, praise and prayer. Each meeting has a theme, a feature presentation of interest, a guest speaker and refreshments. We encourage all women to come and to bring their neighbours and friends with them. All ages are welcome. Dress casually. Women of Heart remembers our designated foreign and home missionaries and their families, and our own church family missionaries on their birthdays and at Christmas with a financial gift. We contribute towards a scholarship for one female Pentecostal Assemblies of God student at the Pan African College in Nairobi, Kenya. We also have committed to financially support Mary Siabbakapa, an orphan child at Manitoba House in Kitwe, Zambia. For more information click here. Ladies' Bible Study Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m., the Ladies’ Bible Study meets in Room 100 in the Argue Building. This 11 week study in the fall and winter runs simultaneously with Wee College for 4 and 5 year olds. The winter session of Ladies Bible Study concludes on March 21st. You are so very welcome and encouraged to join us on any Tuesday morning. All ages welcome. Child care is provided for your children. Prayer Chain The Prayer Chain serves the entire church by praying for urgent needs that are made known to the co-ordinator. On Mondays to Fridays, between 8 and 9 a.m. participants relay requests for prayer. Urgent requests are conveyed immediately, and yes, men are involved.
