March 15 2020 - 12:11pm

As a result of the public health risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, Calvary Temple will be hosting online-only services on March 15 and 22 and will re-evaluate at that time. All programs until March 28 are cancelled/postponed. Saturday prayer meeting, Thursday prayer and fasting, and Tuesday food bank are currently on, however, please call the church or check the website before you come. We want to ensure the safety and well-being of our visitors, members, volunteers, and staff always.

At this time, the Manitoba Government has recommended cancelling all large gatherings, specifically of 250+ people. This includes all three of our Sunday services, French African Fellowship, Deaf Fellowship, GodZone, Edify Young Adults and Impact Youth.

We will be having church online via live stream. Please join us for our contemporary service in its entirety at 10:10 and 11:30 a.m. To watch online, find us at ctwinnipeg.com/online-service or on YouTube and Facebook. You can also watch a pre-recorded sermon on CTV Winnipeg at 11 a.m. Worship, prayer, giving and speaking will all be online.

For the small group of staff and music and tech volunteers that will be at the church, we have taken strong measures to ensure hygiene and social distance. Any person involved who is feeling ill, is immunocompromised or immunosuppressed, or has recently travelled is encouraged to stay home.

We will continue to update our webpage and social media accounts with additional information and updates on future gatherings as the situation evolves. Should you have any pressing questions, please contact our office at 204-943-4551 or ct@ctwinnipeg.com.

In this challenging and unprecedented time, we are thankful that we serve an all-knowing mighty God who heals and gives us peace. Even though we can’t gather together in-person, we’re excited to engage with you online. Thank you for your understanding and dedication to the Calvary Temple community.

We’ll see you at church (virtually) on Sunday!

Your friend and pastor,

Bruce Martin.

In a time of fear, we refuse to add fuel to the fires of speculation. Rather we remind ourselves that clear communication is beneficial as we seek out truth.

HOWEVER, we will livestream our contemporary service in its entirety at 10:10 and 11:30. You will be able to access the stream on our website www.ctwinnipeg.com as well as on Facebook. You can also take part in our community by watching a prerecorded sermon on CTV Winnipeg at 11am.
